Jakarta, 20 April 2013 – Meliá Hotels International is delighted to announce the appointment of the leading Hotelier, Mr. Jim Boyles, as the new General Manager of this refurbished Jakarta Hotel. Boyles, is an industry veteran with a career spanning 35 years. Boyles has worked in Surabaya, Solo, Jogjakarta, Bali and Jakarta in senior sales and management position.

Jim Boyles is surely not a stranger in the hotel industry, prior to Gran Meliá Jakarta, he was the General Manager in Meliá Bali Villas & Spa Resort for over six years and voted as one of the best General Managers by Worldwide Hospitality Awards in 2012.
Boyles started his career as Sales Manager in Sheraton Hawaii and moved-up his career to be the Director of Sales and Marketing before he was appointed as General Manager.
